Primate trekking is one of East Africa’s most moving wildlife experiences, but the best journeys are built around more than the trek itself. We plan permit dates, trailhead location, transfer time, fitness, porter support and lodge placement together so the experience feels considered from start to finish.
Uganda is our home base for mountain gorillas in Bwindi and Mgahinga and chimpanzees in Kibale. Rwanda can also be included where it fits the route, while any DR Congo primate planning is subject to current security and park-access conditions.
